Lead Engineer (Kafka & Flink) - 4+ months - Remote - Start ASAP
For our international client, we are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer with focus in Kafka and Flink.
Your main task is to support the client in a POC (proof of concept) in the design and implementation of Kafka and Flink.
Tasks:
* Support client in POC for Kafka and Flink
* Gather requirements
* Work on Design phase of Kafka and Flink
* Help with set up of Kafka and Flink
* Set up guidelines and standards for POC
* Implementation of POC for Kafka and Flink
* Best practice advise
* Regular communication between business, IT and vendor
Requirements:
* Longterm project experience in implementing Kafka and Flink
* Strong project experience as Engineer
* Strong experience in design of Kafka and Flink
* Project experience in configuration and development
* Project experience in setting up guidelines and standards in Kafka and Flink
* Proven implementation experience in Kafka and Flink
* Experience with Confluent Kafka and Confluent Flink - preferred
* Alternatively experience with Kafka and Flink open source
* Project experience in international projects and design of global solutions
* Nice to have: Experience in supporting in POC projects
* Fluency in English
Project details:
* Start: ASAP (September)
* Duration: 4 months (+ option to extend)
* Workload: 5 days per week
* Location: 100% Remote (CET Time zone)
* Languages: Fluency in English
