Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
Develop technical solutions (configuration, performance estimation, economics) as part of the pre-ITO (requisition) process and interface with the commercial team. Define and optimize the products, scope (description), schedule, industrial scheme, cost, and consider contract and internal policies and procedures. Perform calculations of plant, system, and equipment performance and efficiency. Document the technical specifications and costing elements for further contract execution phases. Customize the products and implement them for specific customer needs. Develop engineering, management, and automation software. Perform integration between SAP and Excel sheets. Responsible for commissioning supervision of the capacitor, rector and entire solution. Provide training about equipment to GE customers. Provide erection and commissioning supervision of the capacitor and reactor production. Ensure that all processes, within their purview adhere to strict internal, as well as industry, standards, requirements and regulations.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related. Two (2) years of experience in power factor correction in high voltage utility grid. Work experience to include: Designing high-voltage capacitors; Tendering high-voltage air core reactors, line traps, capacitors, capacitors banks, and harmonic filters; Designing the most optimized solution for each application FACTS, HVDC, Harmonic filters, HV Shunt Reactors, and Neutral grounding reactors using the tool called PRIDS; and Using capacitor calculation tool to design capacitor banks and harmonic filters, define bill of materials, and compose the final cost to be considered in the commercial offer.
