Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a seasoned Lead Engineer to oversee and drive the engineering design and delivery of complex, multidisciplinary infrastructure and building projects within a large-scale development program. The Lead Engineer will provide technical leadership, ensure design quality, and coordinate engineering activities across various disciplines.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead the engineering design and coordination efforts across multiple disciplines, including civil, structural, MEP, and infrastructure systems.

Manage design deliverables to ensure compliance with client requirements, codes, and quality standards.

Coordinate technical interfaces between engineering teams, consultants, contractors, and clients.

Resolve complex engineering challenges and provide innovative, practical solutions.

Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff to build team capability.

Support project management in planning, resource allocation, and risk management.

Participate in design reviews, audits, and quality assurance processes.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).

Minimum 10-15 years of progressive engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.

Proven track record managing multidisciplinary design projects.

Strong knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and standards relevant to large infrastructure and building projects.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Proficiency with engineering design and coordination software tools.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng, PMP).

Experience working on giga or mega projects, preferably in the Middle East.

Familiarity with sustainable design and smart infrastructure technologies.

Ability to work effectively in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Strong client-facing and negotiation skills.
