The Lead Engineer – Subsea Distribution Systems is responsible for design and development of products for the subsea oil fields distribution system. Leads and coordinates suppliers during product design, manufacturing and testing. Is customer focused and project oriented, delivers in fast phased environment deliver on time on quality and on safety.

 As a Lead Engineer – Subsea Distribution Systems, you will be responsible for:

Establishing technical requirements basing on customer functional specifications and project needs in compliance with international codes and standardsLeading and contributing on design development activities such as CAD modelling and documents creation ensuring alignment with requirements and scheduleWorking cross functionally with other teams and departments to align interfaces, design, activities, and deliverables.Presenting design outcomes in design reviews when and as relevant.Managing engineering suppliers on the technical standpoint, providing guidance and granting compliance to applicable technical and contractual requirements.Providing engineering support to program management and any other stakeholder.Supporting the sourcing team through procurement, manufacturing and test of designed productsProviding consultancy advice to the project bid team.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalentBe an expert in 3D CAD modelling and have robust mechanical design backgroundBe proactive and willing to take ownership and responsibilityHave strong oral and written communication skills, fluent in English.Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

·       Have Subsea equipment knowledge and relevant design methodologies
