Lead Engineer, Production Maintenance

Typical Accountabilities:
• Develops, reviews and approves asset maintenance plans ensuring required compliance, availability and cost performance is achieved

• Contributes to the development and implementation of the area capital investment programme

• Makes appropriate inputs into the capital projects in area, monitoring and identifying equipment and facilities that will need replacement or renewal

• Accountable for engineering aspects of compliance for areas of responsibility, including review and approval of maintenance documentation

• Owns and manages engineering change controls and actions and engineering deviations and abnormal occurrences to completion

• Identifies and manages plant improvement projects

• Monitors, reviews and continuously improves the provision of assets or services to customers

• Manages budget in order to influence the local capital expenditure

• Approximate number of people managed in total (all levels) - 5-15
• Manager of a team

• Own country

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Essential: Educated to degree level in Engineering or related field; Experience in Good X Practice (GXP) or regulated production environment, specifically responsible for equipment performance; Professional qualifications, for example Chartered Engineer, or will be in the process of working towards professional qualification; Proven experience leading and managing a team of technician personnel
• Desirable: Knowledge or previous experience of managing maintenance programs; Experience of working in a Lean manufacturing environment
