**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Lead a global engineering team (2-4 people) of Electronic Engineers located in different Emerson sites
+ Provide leadership in technical reviews and issue resolution for the team
+ Refresh and improve legacy circuit designs to meet customer and industry requirements
+ Own the development of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB), including layout build.
+ Ensure all designs meet relevant industrial standards for EMI/EMC, including documentation and testing for regulatory compliance
+ Support prototype builds and cross-discipline testing, including debugging of PCBs
+ Strengthen Component Engineering Process to ensure proactive component obsolescence in collaboration with Supply Chain.
+ Lead product line improvements, cost reductions, and rationalization initiatives
+ Offer support to Manufacturing, Quality, Supply chain and vendors in technical query resolution

**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
+ 5+ years of experience in crafting, developing, and fixing embedded systems
+ 2+ years of experience in handling small teams
+ Demonstrated experience in project management, handling resources, budgets, and schedules
+ Proficient in developing 16/32-bit Microcontrollers/Microprocessors based systems
+ Willingness to travel on short assignments
+ Fluency in Italian language
+ Good knowledge of English language
+ Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Work and PowerPoint)
**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:**
+ Master’s degree in electronic engineering, Electrical, or a related field is required, while also valuing equivalent experience.
+ Extensive knowledge and experience in industrial actuators
+ Detailed knowledge of industrial standards (CE, EMI/EMC, SIL, etc.) and hands-on experience
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English and Italian)
+ Experience with Agile project management
+ Problem solving techniques using six sigma methodologies
+ Prior experience in the industrial automation or control systems industry.
+ Working experience in developing product with Cybersecurity as per IEC62443
+ Experience with firmware development and associate tools (e.g., Keil, IAR Embedded Workbench).
+ Experience in debugging Communication Protocols –Bluetooth, Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP - Profibus, Lonworks, HART
