Job Title: Lead Electrical Engineer (Contract)

Duration: 12 months+

The role

We’re seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to support a major onshore oil & gas project. You’ll lead electrical engineering scope through design and delivery, interfacing across disciplines and ensuring safe, compliant execution.

Key responsibilities Lead electrical engineering deliverables across the project lifecycle (FEED/detail design/execution as applicable) Own technical assurance for electrical design packages (specs, datasheets, studies, calculations, layouts) Coordinate with multidiscipline engineering and project stakeholders to manage interfaces and priorities Ensure compliance with relevant standards, safety requirements, and project procedures Support reviews, vendor coordination, and technical queries through to completion Required experience Proven experience in electrical engineering within oil & gas / energy projects (onshore preferred) Strong leadership capability (package ownership, checking/review, stakeholder management) Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes/standards (project-dependent) Ability to work on-site in Leatherhead and collaborate with a fast-paced project team #LI-RC6
