Lead Electrical Engineer

Contract: 12 months 
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 

TYPE OF SERVICE:
Lead Electrical Engineer – Coordination with project, client, and other departments; reporting and planning; technical execution of the project including preparation of electrical specifications, equipment requisitions, and supervision of electrical studies.

PROJECT-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong knowledge of engineering methods and phases (specifications, datasheets, interface with other disciplines, subcontractor follow?up)
- Mastery of electrical standards and electrical calculations

TASKS TO BE PERFORMED:
- Specification of electrical equipment (LV & MV switchboards, LV motors & VSDs)
- Preparation of technical bid comparison tables
- Review and comments on supplier drawings
- Protection diagrams, standard schematics
- Load list, power balance
- Installation studies
- Participation in multidisciplinary project meetings and meetings with client and suppliers
- Follow?up of study subcontractor (India)
- Preparation of construction work packages

PROJECT DOCUMENTS PROVIDED BY TECHNIP:
All specifications and documents necessary for project execution.

- Excel, Word, Visio, Optional CAD (AutoCAD)
- French / English
- Caneco BT, ETAP (optional)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
10 years of experience in the field

REQUIRED REFERENCES:
10 years in similar roles

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
French, English (confirmed level)

REQUIRED IT TOOLS:
AutoCAD (optional), Excel, Word, Visio, Caneco BT, ETAP (optional)

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
Electrical authorization / qualification

ADDITIONAL CRITERIA:
Autonomy, coordination, methodology, and organizational skills are essential
Knowledge of revamping projects is appreciated

QUALIFICATION LEVEL REQUIRED:
Master’s degree (Bac + 5)

CLIENT SECTOR EXPERIENCE:
Multiproject environment (e.g., Total, Exxon, Technip, Saipem, etc.)
