Lead EHS - Environment, Health & Safety
**Job Description Summary** Environment, health, and safety (EHS) professionals advise on, develop strategies for, and lead workplace safety and health management. They work as a team to eliminate fatalities, injuries, occupational illnesses, property damage, and environmental harm. EHS Specialist will be engaged with the Manufacturing team and other cross-functional personnel at the business headquarters site to develop and continuously improve EHS culture. This role will also be responsible for new product, capacity expansion, project site/after sales activity and site Lean Transformation **Job Description** **Key Responsibilities & Authority** + Develop site programs to promote employee engagement and foster a strong EHS culture. + Ensure compliance with GE Vernova EHS policies, standards, and framework. + Maintain legal compliance and oversee implementation of EHS regulations in the workplace. + Support and/or lead assigned sites with audits, accident investigations, and EHS-related concerns. + Influence the development of site strategies and policies related to EHS and facilities management. + Collaborate with manufacturing teams to develop new processes and improve existing ones to minimize EHS risks. + Coordinate with relevant functions for shop floor equipment installation, infrastructure modifications, and sustainability initiatives. + Manage facility upgrades and renovations critical to capacity expansion, Lean Transformation, and GE Vernova branding implementation. + Implement and manage site security policies, protocols, equipment, and services. + Oversee third-party contractors, including bidding, selection, and validation of safety plans, insurance, and training qualifications. + Support the Tendering Team to fulfil customer inquiries related to Environmental, Health & Safety. + Maintain ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and SMK3 - Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHMS). **Specific Requirements (Skills & Competencies)** + Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, public health, engineering (any major), or related field. + Minimum 10 years’ experience in EHS, with exposure to manufacturing or industrial environments. + Certification as General Occupational Safety and Health Expert (Ahli K3-Umum) is mandatory. + Additional certifications such as BCSP's Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or NEBOSH are an advantage. + Strong EHS knowledge and practical experience in a manufacturing setting. + Ability to engage effectively with all organizational levels and external regulatory bodies. + Strong project management, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities under tight deadlines. + Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and leadership skills. + Proficient in English (oral and written). + Knowledge and experience in maintaining ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and SMK3 standards. + Experience in Lean Manufacturing implementation and execution. + Preferred: AI skills, presentation expertise, and videography capabilities. **Additional Information** **Relocation Assistance Provided:** No GE Vernova is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
