About the Company:

Hiring for a leading construction company with a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial projects across the U.S. Specializing in wood, steel-framed, and concrete block buildings, self-performing 90–95% of construction work (excluding foundations). The in-house team handles structural, MEP, and architectural design.

Role Overview:

We’re seeking a skilled Drafter/Designer to join our team and support the creation of construction documents. This role involves translating client concepts—from rough sketches to partial plans—into full construction documents using Revit. You’ll collaborate with clients, internal teams, and state agencies to ensure code compliance and project success.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop complete construction document sets for modular commercial buildings using RevitCollaborate with clients to refine designs and incorporate feedbackCoordinate with construction teams and assist with documentation for state code approvalsSupport shop teams with design clarifications and drawing reviewsApply ICC building codes to ensure compliance

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Revit (99% of design work is Revit-based)Experience in drafting, construction design, and producing construction drawingsStrong understanding of building codes and construction practicesExcellent communication and teamwork skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.
