The Lead Document Controller will co-ordinate Document Control (DC) for multiple large-scale subsea projects. This is a client facing role in a high profile and dynamic project environment.
 

As a Lead Document Controller, you will be responsible for:

Management of technical documentation for large-scale subsea projects including storage, review, approval, and distribution.Acting as the single point of contact for the client for DC.Supervising global DC team for selected projects.Identifying client contractual DC requirements and implement a compliant project-specific Document Management Plan (DMP).Managing the Master Document Register (MDR) in an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) throughout the project.Distributing DC reports and metrics internally and externally.Leading on time delivery of technical documentation throughout the project. Ensuring adherence to global SP&S standards for DC for selected projects.Identifying improvement opportunities and escalate concerns to the DC leadership and project teams and support implementation of improvements.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have Bachelor’s degree (or Global degree equivalent) or experience in a DC roleFluent Portuguese speakingExcellent English speakingExperience of using an EDMS

Desirable

Experience in a Senior DC or similar roleExperience of coordinating document managementExperience of DC on major engineering projectsExperience in Oil and Gas or similar engineering environmentExperience of using multiple document management systems

Strong written and oral communications including presentation to clientsHigh energy level, self-starterExcellent collaboration skills with a focus on project delivery in a multi-disciplinary teamSense of ownership and urgency in delivering a high-quality product to the clientLeadership skills and ability to operate effectively in a matrix team / organizationExcellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize complex tasks.
