WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
Reporting directly into the Director, Loss Prevention, you will be a part of the Loss Prevention Field team within North America while working collaboratively with stakeholders to power and protect Nike Inc in the Northern California market.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
The District Loss Prevention Manager will act as the Loss Prevention (LP) subject matter expert at the District level for Nike and Converse buildings. We’re looking for a leader who will be a strategic and operational partner that will assist with reducing overall inventory shortage and minimizing business risks to the brand.
This role will be responsible to:
Identify, lead, and resolve time sensitive critical issues
Responsiveness for off-hour, on-call incident management support for the North America Direct business
Cultivate effective relationships with police departments, shopping mall security and management teams
Gather intelligence on organized theft activity as well as other business impacting activities as directed
Apply exception based reporting to identify and resolve theft and shrink activity
Use all retail systems to uncover operational deficiencies
Educate and coach leaders on internal theft detection
Educate and coach leaders and store teams on external theft policies and practices
Be proficient with store systems and implement training programs accordingly
Conduct loss prevention store audits
Ensure that all store loss prevention systems and programs are fully operational, being regularly maintained, and properly used, including CCTV, alarms, locks, etc
Develop and execute shortage reduction plans and monthly business plans
Liaise effectively with cross-functional teams
Regularly check in with Territory Loss Prevention Director (TLPD) and provide updates on district activity
In-town and out-of-town travel within designated district; some overnight travel
Role requires business travel up to 50% of the time
New store openings and closings (i.e. Training, Physical Security, etc.)
WHAT YOUR BRING
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field. We will accept suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
5+ years retail loss prevention experience
3+ years management experience within a retail environment
Wicklander-Zulawski certification preferred
CFI (Certified Forensic Interviewer) preferred
Proficient computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Strong written, verbal, electronic communication and presentation skills
