Summary:

The Lead Discipline Engineer – Subsea Umbilical is responsible for the design, engineering, procurement support, and installation oversight of subsea umbilical systems. This role ensures technical integrity, compliance with project specifications, and alignment with industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities: Lead the engineering and design of subsea umbilicals, including hydraulic, electrical, and fiber optic components. Develop and review technical specifications, data sheets, and design documentation. Interface with vendors for procurement, manufacturing, FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), and delivery of umbilical systems. Provide technical support during installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards (e.g., API 17E, ISO 13628), and client requirements. Coordinate with other disciplines (e.g., subsea structures, flowlines, controls) to ensure system integration. Participate in design reviews, HAZIDs, HAZOPs, and risk assessments. Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge transfer within the team. #LI-NT1
