Working in close collaboration with teams and stakeholders, you’ll balance form and function while shaping a future that inspires customers and designers alike. **_As a_** **_lead digital designer_** **_, you will…_** + ·Lead the design of innovative features and experiences that millions of people engage with every day. + ·Own the full design stack—from early discovery and prototyping to high-fidelity visuals and micro-interactions. + ·Collaborate closely with researchers, data scientists, product owners, creative studio designers, and engineers to design, test, and deliver major customer features across native applications and web. + ·Influence Starbucks’ product strategies through strong design explorations and rationale, connecting decisions to customer and business impact. + ·Lead a vision for design systems, ensuring visual consistency, accessibility, and brand integrity. + ·Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing rapid iteration with thoughtful craft. + ·Act as a creative beacon to inspire and mentor team members. **_We’d love to hear from people with..._** + ·8+ years of customer-centric digital product design experience, ideally at scale with design-driven brands, tech companies, or agencies. + ·Experience partnering with UX Research, Product, and Engineering to define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps from a design perspective. + ·Experience mentoring, inspiring, and guiding designers. + ·Experience shipping features and experiments in agile, fast-paced environments, including data-informed design decisions. + ·Experience collaborating closely with developers to ensure functional excellence and pixel-perfect execution. + ·Hands-on expertise with modern design tools such as Figma for prototyping, iteration, and collaboration. + ·Ability to communicate concepts and design rationale clearly—visually, verbally, and in writing. + ·Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices. + ·Experience designing for native mobile OS platforms and knowledge of platform-specific guidelines.
