**UPMC Presbyterian is hiring a full-time Lead Diagnostic Technologist to join our dedicated** **Night Program team!** **This role is scheduled for night shifts, including weekend and holiday rotations, and is part of our dedicated Night Program designed to support essential off-shift coverage.**
Program Highlights:
+ Shifts include 12-hour blocks (e.g., 3 p.m. – 3 a.m., 4 p.m. – 4 a.m.) or 8-hour blocks (e.g., 11 p.m. – 7 a.m.)
+ Participants must commit to working the maximum number of budgeted shifts based on their FTE status during off-shift hours
+ Earn an additional $2.00/hour Night Program differential, on top of the hospital’s standard off-shift differential, for all qualifying hours

**Responsibilities:**
+ Assists with quality assurance projects and assists in the development of exam protocols alongside of or in place of advanced technologists and communicates results back to departmental leadership.
+ Assists in talent acquisition interviews for successful recruitment of technologist candidates and provides feedback for annual performance reviews.
+ Coordinates daily workflow and schedule of the department while maintaining staffing levels based on, but not limited to, call offs, vacations, patient volumes, and training needs.
+ Performs all responsibilities of Diagnostic Tech I and Advanced Diagnostic Tech II.
+ Leads orientation and training for new hires, students and other medical personnel; ensures competencies are completed in the required time frame.
+ Responsible for offering remediation with technologists when necessary
+ Assumes the leadership role in the absence of the supervisor
+ Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology.
+ 3 years Diagnostic Imaging experience required.
+ Must have obtained a performance review rating of strong/solid/good on most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion. **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:**
+ ARRT certified in Radiography.
+ CPR or BLS Required.
+ CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
+ If working in a NY facility, you must have received certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and be Licensed through the New York State Department of Health.
+ ARRT Certificate
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
