This role involves designing, building, and managing the entire CI/CD pipeline, including the initial setup of infrastructure and tools to support automated development, testing, and deployment workflows. The ideal candidate will bring a strong systems administration background, with the ability to lead technical implementation while producing thorough documentation to support process transparency and repeatability. Skills and Requirements Active Secret clearance or higher Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance 10 or more years of professional experience in software development Leadership experience as a mentor, team lead, or manager Aerospace, Weapon Systems industry experience Proven background in full-cycle software development, including requirements analysis, system design, coding, integration, and testing. Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams or manage complex software projects across multiple phases. Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining DevOps or DevSecOps practices in dynamic development environments. Practical knowledge of test automation strategies and tools to support continuous validation. Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, including version control systems, automated build processes, and integrated testing frameworks. Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Engineering Technology), Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science from an accredited institution. Active Top Secret clearance Active Security+ or equivalent certification. Exposure to scripting languages Python, JavaScript, or similar Strong GitLab experience Experience with Agile software development methodologies. Experience upholding military software standards Understanding of Risk Management Frameworks (RMF). Understanding of Technical Operating Report (TOR) standards. Experience with software containerization and container orchestration.
