Design Lead with Harness, Electrical Cabling & Packaging, Creo Schematics

Job Summary
The Design Lead in Harness, Electrical Cabling & Packaging, Creo Schematics will be responsible for overseeing the design process, ensuring the efficient development of electrical harnesses, cabling, and packaging solutions using Creo Schematics. They will play a key role in leading the design team and ensuring the successful implementation of projects within the specified parameters. (1.) Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the design team to develop innovative and efficient harness, electrical cabling, and packaging solutions.
2. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the integration of electrical components and systems.
3. Develop detailed designs and technical documentation using creo schematics.
4. Conduct regular design reviews to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
5. Provide technical guidance and support to team members throughout the design process.
6. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality within the design function.
7. Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation in design processes.

Skill Requirements
1. Proficiency in harness design, electrical cabling, and packaging techniques.
2. Experience with cad software, specifically creo schematics, for creating detailed designs.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical components, systems integration, and manufacturing processes.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot design issues.
5. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross functional teams.
6. Project management capabilities to lead design projects from initiation to completion.
7. Attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
8. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast paced environment.
