**Job Description:** _REMOTE TYPE: Office Worker: In office position with work from home allowed, i.e. flex or hybrid worker_ _JOB LOCATION:_ 300 North Point Pkwy, Alpharetta, GA 30005 _DUTIES:_ Design, build, and present on-prem to Data transformation solutions, systems, and applications to address customer needs. This will be tailored to projects related to the Telecommunications industry with specific functional components like: Billing, sales, finance, network, inventory, customer profiling, marketing, etc. Understand business challenges and architecting Data Engineering solutions. Leverage expertise in Databricks and Snowflake’s Data Cloud and the latest advancements in data migration and customized solutions to build POCs and prototypes that demonstrate value to clients. Understanding of LLMs such as GPT including their architecture, implementation, and applications. Stay updated on the latest advancements in data platform technologies and all the rapidly evolving Data Native Apps capabilities, and identify opportunities to incorporate them into Chief Data Office (CDO) customer solutions. Develop technical presentations and conduct workshops and hackathons to share expertise on Data engineering best practices. Utilize Databricks development experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, building, and demonstrating data solutions. Reporting and data integration. Integrate Databricks and Snowflake solutions with the major cloud platforms and leveraging their pre-built capabilities. Use Databricks, Snowflake, Azure cloud, reference architectures and building Proof of concepts. Build robust data engineering frameworks, Azure cloud, python/JAVA/Scala, and Data bricks (Spark). _REQUIREMENTS:_ Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering or Computer Science and 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years of experience in a related occupation utilizing Databricks development experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, building, and demonstrating data solutions; reporting and data integration; integrating Databricks and Snowflake solutions with the major cloud platforms and leveraging their pre-built capabilities; using Databricks, Snowflake, Azure cloud, reference architectures and building Proof of concepts; and building robust data engineering frameworks, Azure cloud, python/JAVA/Scala, and Data bricks (Spark).
