Location/Division Specific Information
Located in Burnaby, BC, Canada where you'll contribute to delivering exceptional service to our customers. This position connects interfacing daily with lab end users, field service engineers, and operational departments, ensuring smooth workflow management, operations of lab equipment and customer satisfaction. You'll manage service requests, coordinate with vendors, process work orders, and maintain accurate documentation while upholding our standards of excellence. Working with laboratory and scientific equipment, you'll help support our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer through administrative support and process optimization.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work within Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage work orders and assets, including work order creation, updates, review, and closure.
Schedule daily work, including building daily vendor escorting schedules, customer communications, tracking and reporting of metric data; includes scheduling all vendor service events, collaborating closely to generate quotes, and seeking service reports
Cultivate strong relationships with vendors (escort vendors for onsite service events) and serve as the first point of contact for client concerns
Conduct cleaning and disinfection of laboratory equipment.
Embody safety culture and promote a safe work environment.
Follow procedures and successfully apply good documentation practices in regulated record keeping.
EducationMust possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a laboratory or scientific environment
Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesOutstanding communication, and organizational skills
Dedication to delivering strictly high-quality service
Strong interpersonal skills and proactive approach in all duties
Detail oriented, technically proficient, problem solver, promotes team environment
Willingness to work overtime as the need arises
Computer/software skills (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Physical Requirements / Work EnvironmentWorks in an office environment, including cubicles, and/or in and around shipping/receiving docks, stock rooms, storage locations, and laboratory environments. Depending on the area of the building, personal protective equipment may be worn (i.e. lab coat, safety glasses). Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Compensation
The salary range estimated for this position based in Canada is $41,900.00–$61,900.00.
