We want you to apply! **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Lead Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is a working leadership role responsible for managing the daily informational, operational, and clinical performance compliance functions of the CT Department. This role involves performing the duties of a CT Technologist while providing supervisory support, direction, and guidance to the team, under the supervision of the Imaging Services Director, Manager, and CT Supervisor. The Lead CT Technologist serves as a key role model, exhibiting strong leadership behaviors such as delegating authority, facilitating decision-making, and fostering consensus across departments to ensure safe, efficient, and effective Imaging Services. Candidates must have an accredited degree in Radiography, current ARRT licensure, and a minimum of two years of technical experience, along with excellent communication skills and current American Heart Association BLS certification. **What you will do in this role:** + Manage the informational, quality assurance, clinical performance compliance, and operational functions of the CT Department. + Provide leadership and assist with select departmental administration functions. + Serve as a role model by exhibiting strong leadership behaviors, including encouraging involvement, delegating authority, and building consensus within the organization. + Collaborate with the Imaging Services Management Team, physicians, and staff to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. + Manage daily staffing assignments and escalate staffing concerns to the CT Supervisor or Imaging Manager. + Collaborate on resource utilization, organize, and direct workflow. + Perform all duties of a standard CT Technologist as needed. + Assist with department operations, including staff Paid Time Off (PTO) scheduling, ordering supplies, and managing the Dose Watch program. + Assume the responsibilities of the CT Supervisor in their absence. + Develop and maintain good inter- and intra-departmental working relationships and foster good customer relations in line with the Skyline Medical Center mission statement. + Maintain knowledge of and compliance with all Policies, Procedures, and Regulations related to the Department of Imaging. + Use professional and ethical judgment and critical thinking when performing all duties. + Participate in continuing education for optimal patient care, public education, and enhanced knowledge and technical competence. + Provide care appropriate to the age-specific needs of patients across the lifespan, including **Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric** groups (0 to 65+ years). + Provide care appropriate to the age-specific needs of patients across the lifespan, including **Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric** groups (0 to 65+ years). **What qualifications you will need:** + Graduation from an accredited education program in Radiography. + Current **ARRT licensure** (denotes successful completion of the certification examination) **required** . + Excellent communication and inter-personal skills **required** . + American Heart Association **BLS** certification **required** . + TriStar Skyline Medical Center is a 250+ bed facility.
