Join us! **About this Role** Wells Fargo is seeking a **Lead C** **on** **trol Management Officer** to join the **Lending, Banking and** **Capital Markets Control team** within Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB). This role supports key business areas by helping to identify and mitigate risks, drive strategic initiatives, and strengthen control effectiveness. We welcome candidates who are early in their careers but motivated to learn, grow, and make an impact. **In this Role you will:** + Contribute to initiatives that address current and emerging risks across CIB businesses. + Support the evaluation and monitoring of decisions and practices within the Control Management function. + Provide consulting support to help business teams identify risks and design and implement effective risk mitigation strategies. + Explore opportunities to apply AI and automation to reduce manual controls and enhance risk detection. + Assist in developing and maintaining risk monitoring and reporting processes. + Participate in Control Management projects and cross-functional working groups. **Required Qualifications:** + 5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education **Desired Qualifications:** + Experience in Corporate and Investment Banking or Commercial Real Estate (origination, closing, or asset management). + Experience with issues management and risk mitigation. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while managing multiple priorities. + Strong relationship-building and communication skills. + Effective time management and organizational skills. + Ability to collaborate across various levels of the organization. + Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and ownership. + Bachelor’s degree or higher. **Job Expectations:** + Hybrid work schedule.
