Lead Compensation Consultant - Vice President
**About this role:** Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Compensation Consultant - Vice President. **In this role, you will:** + Partner with a human resource team and managers as an internal consultant to strategize, develop base and incentive compensation programs, and to resolve extremely complex issues where analysis requires an evaluation of tangible and intangible variance factors + Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, large scale, and long-term business, operational, or technical challenges that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors + Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead a broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives + Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and middle level to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals + Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor **Required Qualifications:** + 5+ years of Compensation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education **Desired Qualifications:** + Experience in Compensation, preferably in a Banking Industry + Strategic thinking and good business judgment. + Knowledge and understanding of compensation strategies for highly complex business groups. + Highly effective consultative mindset with credibility through demonstrating strong business and data driven acumen, passion for customer service and operational excellence. + Demonstrated skills in influencing and navigating across a complex, highly matrixed global organization with a collaborative mindset. + Experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment. + Strong communication skills. This includes the ability to simplify complex concepts. + Proactive control and risk management, addressing gaps in processes and escalating issues to benefit the business and clients in a dynamic environment. **Job Expectations:** + As a Compensation consultant you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself and the business.
