Essential Competencies:

17th / 18th Edition Certification Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card National Grid Person - Substation National Grid Competent Person - Substation EUSR Safety Health and Environmental Awareness - Gas Safe Control of Operations 1 & 2 (SCO 1 & 2) - Gas Safe Control of Operations 91 (SCO 91) – Gas Emergency First Aid at Work – (EFAW) Must have good communication skills in both verbal and the use of written English language. Must be computer literate in basic IT skills. Must have good observational skills especially for Health, Safety and Quality issues. Must be able to recognise, manage and shift priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem solving capabilities. Must be focused on all safety, environmental and quality issues on the construction site. Must be able to interface professionally with all levels of personnel. Must be focused on achieving the desired aims and objectives in a safe manner. Must be professional in approach and manner at all times. Flexible during periods of change. Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including senior management, clients and other departments. Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is essential
