Job Opportunity: Lead Carpenter Location: Sweetgrass, Saskatchewan Shift: 10 days on, 4 days off Are you a skilled carpenter with leadership experience, a strong work ethic, and a passion for quality construction? Join our dynamic team as a Lead Carpenter, where you’ll work alongside our Site Superintendent and construction crews to deliver high-quality projects safely and efficiently. What You'll Do Lead construction work in alignment with project plans and priorities. Mentor and guide trades workers, ensuring adherence to best practices. Oversee daily responsibilities, schedules, and crew attendance. Maintain compliance with safety policies and high-quality standards. Communicate project updates and resolve on-site issues promptly. Foster positive relationships with clients, teams, and contractors. What We’re Looking For Experience: 5+ years in construction with a strong carpentry background. Skills: Ability to read blueprints, lead teams, and organize effectively. Certification: Journeyman Carpenter Ticket (optional but an asset). Valid safety certifications (First Aid, CSTS, WHMIS, Work Hub Orientation, etc.) and a valid driver’s license. Characteristics: Motivated self-starter with problem-solving skills. Strong communicator, both verbally and electronically. Organized and adaptable with a “can-do” attitude. Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in variable conditions. Why Join Us?
