Job Title: Commercial Formwork CarpenterJob Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Formwork Carpenter to work on an ongoing commercial project in Richmond. You will collaborate closely with the Site Superintendent, taking their directions and effectively delegating tasks to your formwork crew. Your responsibilities will include performing formwork inside an existing building, exposing floors, adding to current formwork, conducting layout, and managing general site preparation, including shoveling, cutting, and cleanup.

ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the Site Superintendent to execute project plans.Delegate tasks effectively to the formwork crew.Perform formwork operations within an existing building structure.Expose floors and add additions to current formwork.Conduct layout and site preparation tasks.Handle cutting and cleanup duties around the site.Essential Skills5+ years of experience in commercial, industrial, institutional, or high-rise formwork.Proven leadership experience in managing a crew of 4 or more.Ability to pass a C6 Clearance.CSTS or SITE READY certification.Possession of PPE and tool belt.Willingness to work evening shifts from 6 PM onwards.Valid driver's license and access to a car.Additional Skills & QualificationsLeadership experience is advantageous.Proficiency in layout design.Experience operating a telehandler.First aid certification.Traffic Control Person (TCP) certification.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
