Lead Cardiologist

Our Clinics offer a team-based care model where our physicians lead a multi-disciplinary care team supporting patient’s physical, emotional, and social wellness. The Cardiology Lead specializes in diseases of the heart and blood vessels and is the Cardiology program leader, and part of a clinical care team that focuses on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention for senior patients. The Cardiology Lead manages complex cardiac conditions such as abnormal heartbeat rhythms, and congestive heart failure, as well as provides preventative techniques for dealing with potential heart-related illnesses. The Cardiology Lead spends approximately 80% of their time clinically focused on direct patient care, inclusive of patient facing time and general administrative time (charting, etc.) as it relates to direct patient care, and approximately 20% of their time leading the Program. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action. **Use your skills to make an impact** We are a value-based care provider focused on quality of care for the patients we serve. Our model is positioned to provide higher quality care and better outcomes for seniors by providing a concierge experience, multidisciplinary services, coordinated care supported by analytics and tools, and deep community relationships. **Required Qualifications:** + Current and unrestricted medical license or willing to obtain a medical licenses in state of practice;   + Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Demonstrate a high level of skill with interpersonal relationships and communications with colleagues/patients + Fully engaged in the concept of “Integrated team based care” model + Willingness and ability to learn/adapt to practice in a value-based care setting + Willingness to drive between two to four centers in personal vehicle; Conviva offers mileage reimbursement + Board Certification or Eligible to become certified (ABMS or AOA) in Cardiovascular Disease **Preferred:** + Board Certification in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and vascular ultrasound (RPVI) **Additional Information:** · Base salary +bi-annual incentive 25% of base · Excellent benefit package – _health insurance effective on your first day of employment_ · CME Allowance/days (five) · Occurrence-Based Malpractice Insurance · Relocation and sign-on bonus options · 401(k) with employer match · Life Insurance/Disability · Paid Time Off/Holidays · Minimal Call \#physiciancareers \#LI-KP1 **Scheduled Weekly Hours** 40 **Pay Range** The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $360,500 - $495,700 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
