Lead C&I Package Engineer

Wood is recruiting for Lead C&I Package Engineer to support a high-profile client across UK projects.  

The Lead C&I Package Engineer will join our team within our Operations business.   

There is a requirement for hybrid working with 3 days per week being based out of either our Aberdeen or Glasgow office. There will also be a requirement to visit UK based client sites as and when required.   

Please note applicants must be able to pass HMG Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check.

The Role 

We are currently seeking Lead C&I Package Engineer responsible for Controls and Instrumentation (C&I) for delivering brownfield EPCm upgrades.

The Lead C&I Package Engineer will operate within the core project team, working closely with the engineering team to ensure seamless delivery. They will provide guidance and oversight to discipline Engineers, managing responsibilities and delegating tasks effectively. The key responsibilities of the role will include delegating tasks, managing the C&I packages scope delivery within budget and schedule.

Given the prominence of the role in our delivery and level of responsibility and accountability experience in project alignment, performance measurement, risk mitigation, decision-making, team motivation and enhanced project reporting are required.
