Together, this role drives consumer-first assortments and brings merchandising stories to life on Nike.com and the Nike App.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Nike is seeking a Lead Footwear Buyer to lead the Women’s Sportswear Footwear business within the North America Nike Digital channel. This role calls for strong business acumen, a passion for sport and style, and the ability to influence across functions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, demonstrates agility, and brings a consumer-first mindset to every decision. Success requires analytical strength, marketplace awareness, and the ability to manage multiple seasons while advancing Nike’s most innovative footwear franchises.
Key Qualifications:
Open to work in Beaverton, OR5–6 years of experience in footwear, apparel, equipment, or relevant consumer product merchandising, product creation, and/or retail in a vertical, multi-brand, or digital environmentBachelor’s degree in Business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and trainingStrong command of retail and digital metrics (sell-through, margin, full-price realization, weeks of supply)Proven ability to translate consumer, sales, trend, and marketplace insights into breakthrough strategiesWHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You’ll design consumer-centric assortment plans that blend data-driven insights with trend intuition. You’ll lead seasonal reviews, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multi-season planning to deliver Nike’s vision for Women’s Sportswear Footwear.
