As a Bartender, you will help bring this experience to life by delivering exceptional service, crafting high‑quality beverages, and contributing to the warm and memorable environment our lounge is known for. This position blends hands-on bartending excellence with leadership responsibilities, supporting daily bar operations, mentoring bartenders, and ensuring an impeccable guest experience. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in modern craft cocktail trends, bar operations, and service standards, and thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities** + Prepare and serve craft cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, creativity, and consistency + Maintain an immaculate, organized, and visually appealing bar at all times + Lead by example, supporting and guiding bartenders during service to ensure seamless operations + Assist with training, coaching, and scheduling of bartending staff as needed + Ensure compliance with state and local alcohol service regulations and hotel policies + Oversee bar inventory, including monitoring stock levels, placing orders, receiving deliveries, and minimizing waste + Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cost control initiatives + Uphold sanitation, safety, and cleanliness standards for all bar equipment and work areas + Collaborate with leadership on menu execution, inventory awareness, and service flow + Assist other roles and departments as necessary Hourly Rate for this position is $25.00/hr **Qualifications:** + A genuine passion for hospitality and a strong desire to exceed guest expectations + Proven bartending experience; leadership experience preferred + Strong knowledge of craft cocktail trends, spirits, wine, beer, and bar equipment + Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to remain calm, focused, and service-driven in a fast-paced setting + Working knowledge of state and local alcohol service laws + Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights **Primary Location:** US-CA-San Francisco **Organization:** Laurel Inn **Pay Basis:** Hourly **Job Level:** Full-time **Job:** Bars/Restaurants/Outlets **Req ID:** SAN034863 Hyatt is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
