WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As our Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for the performance of maintenance, inspections, and repairs of company aircraft in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR's), the aircraft manufacturer and with company policies, standards and procedures. You'll assist with the operational support of aircraft, ground support equipment, facility operations and facility shop equipment. You'll also be responsible for the accurate and timely performance of all duties assigned and may be frequently expected to perform tasks undirected.

5 years of aviation maintenance experience requiredAircraft maintenance experience and training on Gulfstream G650ER aircraft highly preferredCurrently hold a valid FAA Airframe and Power Plant licenseBachelor's degree in Science or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and trainingAbility to obtain and maintain a valid passport Currently hold an IA certificate is preferredProficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and CMPExperience working within Federal Aviation RegulationsWilling to work all days of the week, including holidays and weekends to meet specific flight schedules per established work guidelinesStrong communication and inter-personal skillsSupervisory experience leading employeesExperience operating various types of equipment and vehicles consisting of; forklift and aircraft tugsResponds resourcefully, flexibly, and positively when faced with challenges and demandsGenerates effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisionsActively communicates and takes time to safely perform work to protect our people and environmentWillingness and ability (with or without a reasonable accommodation) to perform/comply with following:Lift a stationary weight of 50lbs from bench level to a shelf 18 inches above bench levelClimb heights to work from scissor lifts, stands and ladders

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance, inspection and repair of aircraft systems and associated equipment per FAA and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) approved data to provide safe, reliable transportation; perform duplicate inspections on all aircraft maintenance requiring dual sign off as per approved inspection guidelines; ensure the cleanliness of the aircraft and the hangar facility; and assist in maintaining the security of the aircraft and the hangar facility.

Also, perform Aircraft Flight Technician duties on extended international flights when assigned and promptly report all safety and/or environmental hazards to supervisory personnel. This opportunity also involves assisting in the performance of administrative tasks relating to aircraft maintenance. In addition, you'll effectively communicate with OEM Field Services to facilitate safe, cost-effective resolution of aircraft system problems.

Works within Nike Flight Operation to maintain a culture of safety with efficient procedures that support customer service.You will ensure all work and inspections are complied with in accordance with approved technical data.You will perform final acceptance of incoming materials quality in accordance with Nike Flight Storeroom  procedures.Maintain Technical manualsassist in the performance of administrative tasks relating to aircraft maintenance.assist in performing maintenance repairs and inspections in accordance with CFRs, OEM, Nike Flight standards and procedures.You will assist with the operational support of aircraft, ground support equipment, facility operations and facility shop equipment.You will assist with shipping, receiving and inventory of aircraft parts.You will assist in maintaining the security of aircraft and hangar facility.Direct the work of outside contractors (cleaning services, maintenance services) for work performed within Nike Flight Operation facility.
