Operating in the global marketplace means multinational companies face a variety of different business, cultural, language and regulatory environments. IGS helps these companies navigate these challenges. We advise multinational companies on certain specialist topics where the IGS has unique experience, but we also act as a single point of contact to help solve client questions where we draw on the expertise of our colleagues from around the world. **The Role** **DUTIES:** + Lead Associate within Integrated & Global Solutions (IGS) Line of Business at Willis Towers Watson US LLC in Arlington, VA. + Work as part of a team to provide consulting advice and services to multinational companies concerning retirement as well as broader HR benefits and compensation issues for their operations globally. + Serve as a key resource for consultants in charge of engagements by performing many intricate aspects of client work. + Serve as a project manager and main liaison to the consultant, which includes creating project plans, monitoring progress to deadlines and budget, ensuring appropriate and effective communication among team members and the client, increasing efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes, etc. + Serve as a resource and liaise effectively with colleagues and clients regarding data collection, analyses, and project execution. + Serve as primary resource and liaise effectively with colleagues and clients regarding data collection, analyses, and project execution required for accounting for pension and benefit costs, actuarial valuations, and retirement plan benefit calculations and statements + Complete analyses required for special projects including mergers and acquisitions, benefit plan strategy and design, plan management and governance strategy, and global financing and funding policies. + Prepare the first draft of deliverables for review by the consultant. + Contribute to sales and marketing efforts by drafting proposals and responding to RFPs. **Qualifications** **The Requirements** **REQUIREMENTS:** + Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field + Two (2) years of experience in a related Actuarial Analyst role. + Prior experience working on HR benefit programs with demonstrated interest in international issues. + Prior experience successfully managing multiple projects and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget. + Prior experience working knowledge of Excel, MS Project, MS Word. + Prior experience delivering defined benefit valuation and actuarial consulting services to multinational companies. + Working knowledge of special events accounting and financial reporting rules governing multi-national companies. + Prior experience providing consulting advice and services to multinational companies concerning retirement and broader employee benefit issues. + Prior experience supporting sales of benefits and retirement consulting services to multinationals. + Prior experience participating in the creation of new intellectual capital. + Exam progress towards ASA designation or equivalent international credentials. **Compensation** The base salary compensation being offered for this role is $118,750 USD per year.
