Purpose of the Role:

To Perform Accounting & Reporting of Fixed Assets and Intangibles

Function Description:

The individual will be part of Fixed Assets process in Financial Accounting & Close team.The incumbent shall be required to perform processing and accounting activities for Fixed assets & intangibles e.g. capitalization, transfer and disposal of assets, perform depreciation accounting and generate Fixed Assets Register on monthly basisThe incumbent will be responsible for preparing reconciliationsThe candidate will be required to handle the e-mail queries received on FA shared mailbox and provide appropriate responses to the customers / stakeholdersThe incumbent shall be required to maintain close contact with customers / business partnersShould have sound accounting knowledge and understanding of US GAAPStrong inter-personal skills and communication skills. Demonstrate problem solving skillsThe incumbent should have focus on Accuracy, control & complianceThe candidate should have strong analytical skillsThe successful candidate should be flexible & result oriented.Good Understanding of AMEX businesses, AMEX systems will be an advantage

Good Accounting Knowledge & Communication SkillsPast Experience: 2 to 3 YearsAcademic Background: Bachelor’s degree in commerce/finance. CA (Inter)/ CMA preferredFunctional Skills/Capabilities: Accounting BackgroundTechnical Skills/Capabilities: Advance Excel, Data Analytics tools e.g. Tableau, Power BIKnowledge of Platforms: Oracle
