Lead Analyst, Service Analytics

Role Summary Rivian is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and self-starting Lead Analyst to support our vehicle Service Analytics organization. You will play a critical role in providing data, analysis, and insights that drive performance and productivity. You may support business partners across our end-to-end Service operations, ranging from Service Centers, mobile service, call centers, parts logistics, and related programs. As Lead Analyst, you’ll work cross-functionally to build dashboards, analyze operational performance, and support strategic initiatives with accurate and actionable data. Responsibilities Develop and maintain operational dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement Deliver insightful analysis and reporting to support business decision-making across Service operations Translate complex business questions into data analysis, visualizations, and insights for key stakeholders Assist in building and maintaining Service scorecards and KPIs that align with business objectives Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends, variances, and root causes in Service operations data Develop strong business partner relationships with cross-functional teams (e.g., Field Service, Technical Service, Strategy, Quality, Finance, Enterprise Data & Analytics) to understand needs, prioritize requests and deliver results Help ensure data accessibility and integrity across multiple sources (e.g., data warehouses, spreadsheets, 3rd-party tools) Collaborate with other analysts and stakeholders to standardize reporting and share best practices Support the team’s transition across data visualization platforms and longer term transition from descriptive to predictive analytics Provide mentorship and coaching to other analysts Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the availability and integrity of data within the data warehouse, including infrastructure, pipelines, ETLs, and business rule documentation Support relevant materials for executive requests Qualifications 5+ years of related business experience in analytics and/or decision science demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility, with emphasis on operational reporting and target setting Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or related field Experience in vehicle service or automotive operations preferred Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, advanced business acumen mindset Proactive communicator, with the ability to distill complex concepts into synthesized takeaways Strong project management, planning, and organization skills, including ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Growth mindset and continuous improvement outlook Proficient in SQL, Python, Hex, Databricks, Tableau, and Google Workspace (especially Sheets, Slides) Experienced in successfully including integrating data from sources (third party, Excel/Sheets, Smartsheet, Data Lake) Pay Disclosure Salary Range/Hourly Rate for California Based Applicants: $137K - 172K (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
