This position is responsible for performing complex analysis of business goals, objectives, and needs to align information technology solutions with business initiatives. This role will investigate, define, document, and elicit requirements, features, or functions to be included within the scope of a project or work ticket.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%) Meet with business partners, project managers, and vendor partners to determine project scope and vision, set system goals, identify and resolve system issues, and lead prioritization of build items. Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications to stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood. Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team. This includes creating process modes, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to the team. Review system design plans for reasonableness and fit within the business requirements. Coordinate and perform configuration changes for applications in the Integration area. Define, coordinate, and participate in the execution of test cases as part of the Quality Assurance process. Provide orientation and training to end users for modifications to existing processes and new functionality. Identify and document business and functional requirements determined by business partners and stakeholders. Define, elicit, and analyze existing and new system functions and processes to make recommendations to meet the business goals and user needs. Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow. Assist or support the creation of use cases, business process mapping, data mapping or changes and training of end users to prepare for the successful implementation of the new features or functions. Comprehensive knowledge of the Scrum development process (Agile). Required QualificationsExperience: 6 years’ experience in complex IT Integration Software and Hardware business requirements definition, process and business analysis.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or MIS or related field from an accredited college or university. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
