About the role:
The Lead Advanced Analytics position at AT&T is a high-impact strategic and technical leadership role, focused on managing the Wireless Rate Plan forecast. This role requires an accomplished, data-driven professional who thrives on leveraging technology to automate and optimize processes, delivering immediate and measurable business value. You will play a pivotal part in shaping and presenting forecasts, driving strategic initiatives, and collaborating across multiple teams to influence and enable critical business decisions.

Technical proficiency in Snowflake, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, and advanced statistical modeling is essential, as is the ability to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. What you’ll do:
Lead the development, implementation, and enhancement of forecasting models using advanced analytics, statistical and machine learning techniques.
Analyze and present forecasts and insights to leaders and cross-functional partners, enabling impactful business decisions.
Collaborate with Pricing, Offers, Analytics, and Finance teams to understand and model the impacts of new rate plans, pricing changes, discounts, and shifts in subscriber mix on business performance.
Maintain rigorous data integrity and quality standards, implementing robust validation and quality assurance protocols.
Continuously scan the competitive landscape and emerging technologies, incorporating best practices to keep AT&T at the forefront of innovation.
Proactively identify and champion opportunities for innovation in analytics, forecasting, and data management.
Develop clear, data-informed narratives that drive business growth and are accessible to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture, providing mentorship and embodying servant leadership principles.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, strategy, data science, statistics, computer science, or a related quantitative field required; Master’s degree highly desirable.
5+ years of experience in marketing or finance, with a track record of leading complex data projects and managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
Deep expertise with Snowflake, Python, Tableau, and PowerBI.
Experience with business case development, large-scale data tables, and advanced statistical modeling (time series analysis, regression, machine learning).
Advanced proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, advanced functions, VBA).
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and model building.
Strong business acumen, with the ability to identify trends, understand consumer and marketplace dynamics, and drive data-driven strategies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting complex data to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong presentation skills—able to articulate strategy and analysis clearly and concisely.
Our Lead Advanced Analytics earns between $116,700 - $175,100 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
