Lead – Advanced Analytics (Broadband Acquisition)

Our team leverages advanced analytics and strategic thought leadership to drive both short-term and long-term priorities. As part of the team, you’ll support new and ongoing sales initiatives and provide actionable insights to help shape, optimize, and evolve our acquisition strategies.

About the Role:
As a Lead, you will oversee program-level analytics for offers, promotions, pricing, product trials and launches, and develop insights across both national and local sales channels. You’ll collaborate closely with key partners, utilizing root-cause analysis, statistical methods, and other data-driven techniques to explore data, uncover trends, and deliver business recommendations that create immediate value.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead large, complex, cross-functional analytics projects spanning multiple business units and analytics teams.Gather, analyze, and interpret diverse data sets to evaluate performance and forecast future outcomes.Advise business partners and leadership on patterns, relationships, and trends; provide recommendations to align business direction.Develop and automate visualizations; create executive materials to support findings.Focus on delivering insights that drive business results—not just routine reporting. Tell the story behind the data and explain its business implications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in statistics, data science, business analytics, or a related quantitative field; advanced degree preferred.Typically 5–8 years of experience in sales analytics, customer insights, research methods, structured analysis, or sampling techniques.Deep technical knowledge, including SQL coding experience; proficiency with Power BI and/or Tableau.Strong Excel skills and experience managing large, complex data sets.Proven ability in presentation design, development, and delivery; strong communication skills to present analytical results and recommendations.Ability to effectively manage and balance priorities across long-term projects and short-term ad-hoc requests.Strong understanding of internal business segments and stakeholders.Solid financial acumen.Prior experience in broadband and/or the communications industry is preferred.

Our Lead Advanced Analytics earns between $130,700 - $196,100 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
