As the Lead Additive Manufacturing Engineer, you will impact departmental operations and be responsible for planning/execution. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow your skills and experience, use your hands on manufacturing design and processing, and become a leader in Additive. This role will have you planning and execution for operations with a high impact on business needs. Your eye for detail and process improvement will be used while giving you a chance to see the latest in additive design.

Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:Work in a hands-on environment to develop new and improved processes for additive manufacturing technologyLead execution of in-house process improvement DOEsProduce prototype and low-rate production hardware and transition new, turn-key processes into Supply Chain shopsInteract with Design, EMS, Quality, external Supply Chain vendors and equipment manufacturersExecute the design, analysis or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirementsProvide technical leadership to personnel supporting the assigned projectDocument technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and proceduresProvide timely communications on significant issues or developmentsParticipate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issuesParticipate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviewsAssure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years' experience in manufacturing or design engineering).At least an additional 3 years of experience in manufacturing or design engineering
