Scope of Responsibility:

·        This position is the subject matter expert for 3DLP equipment installation and setup, training, coordination of SO’s with India and programs, and reporting on utilization within Sabre.

 

Essential Duties:

Communicate with the Plant Managers and Supervisors regarding 3DLP personnel who are having difficulties performing with 3DLP.Use the company’s computer system (EPICOR/Vantage - MES), to collect labor hours and track process information on each job and supervise employee duties to ensure Safety, Quality, and Productivity goals are being met.Assist with the training of new employees and employees needing refinement or upgrading of 3DLP operation for the most efficient utilization of 3DLP.Assist and identify 3DLP related issues (personnel, consumable or equipment related).Ensure that all plant 3DLP operators are operating within the procedures that are being used.High level of training capabilities with 3DLP and Fit Up, which ensures leadership and motivation of employees to attain high standards of safety, quality and productivity.Knowledge and awareness of the safety issues related to each operation performed within the department and must ensure that all employees always adhere to safe practices.Be able to fill in when for production needs when asked during absentees.Able to use 3DLP in production as needed, when training and other duties aren’t needed.Able to complete special projects to support the utilization of 3DLP when needed in a timely manner.Ensure that all personnel are using safe work practices.Additional duties as assigned.Reads and interprets drawings to determine parts needed to assemble pole assembly. Locate and gather Storeroom Personnel staged parts needed for assembly from parts staging area. Frequently pushes, pulls, and lifts to fifty pounds.Reads and interprets drawings to assure proper location of various small part attachments. Layout various locations on round tube or formed shaft based upon interpretation of drawings and specifications. Regular and on-time attendance. Work in your shift as scheduled. Having a good attitude with coworkers.

 

Position Requirements:

·         Education:  High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred

 Experience:  3DLP operator experience

 Skills & Abilities:

Must have knowledge of basic shop mathematics, addition, subtraction, fractions, multiplication, and decimals.Proficiency in reading complex prints and specifications - EnglishMust know how to effectively use a weld gauge.Read and write - English

 

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand 100% of scheduled shift. Lifting, pushing, prying, and dragging heavy materials.Must be capable of bending, stooping, crawling under or over and occasional climbing of stairs/ladders heights up to 6 or 7 feetAbnormal level of noise due to grinding, chipping, hammering requires hearing protection (ear plugs) be always wornMust possess adequate dexterity and stamina to sustain expected production effectivelyMust be able to work in fast-paced work environmentMust be able to lift to fifty poundsMust be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, bending, twisting, and managing of materialsPosition requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness, and a safety-minded individualMust be able to work in an open environment exposed to extreme temperatures
