Summary
Pearson is seeking a Test Publishing Supervisor to lead a team of test publishers. The role involves building, reviewing, and publishing computer-based exams, ensuring fair and accurate candidate evaluation. You will support multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with dedicated professionals to achieve shared goals in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead a team using proprietary and general software to build and publish exams according to client specifications.
Track workflow status from assignment through delivery, ensuring all internal and external deadlines are met.
Package test files and supplemental electronic articles for distribution to the global test center network.
Collaborate with internal and external workgroups, business partners, and clients to accomplish goals and meet client-driven deadlines.
Create and maintain documentation reflecting changes, revisions, and discrepancies between source materials.
Gain expert-level knowledge of test publishing processes, tools, and systems; ensure strict adherence to documented procedures.
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews with all direct reports.
Work alongside other test publishing leaders to continually review and adapt processes and tools to meet evolving business needs.
Skills and Qualifications
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating efforts with others to meet shared goals.
Strong self-motivation and leadership skills; ability to work independently and proactively identify tasks and challenges.
Effective English verbal and written communication skills; ability to provide detailed feedback to team members and other workgroups.
Experience with HTML, XML, JAVA, or other scripting languages (preferred but not required).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), PDF software, file management, and computer/internet navigation; ability to master new technology.
Experience documenting systems and processes.
Ability to plan team work effectively to ensure deadlines are met and tasks are completed to the highest quality.
Proactive goal planning to align with corporate strategy.
Willingness to complete other tasks as required, including personal objectives, requested reports, and administrative requests.
Essential Experience
Three to five years’ experience managing a team in a dynamic environment where quality is paramount.
Three to five years’ experience leading high-stakes projects with strict timelines and detailed customer requirements.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
High level of technical acumen, including ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues.
Keen eye for detail.
Excellent written and verbal English.
Excellent customer service skills.
Flexibility to work additional hours to meet client needs and collaborate globally.
Working Arrangements
Full-time, onsite position in the Noida office.
Salary
1,500.000 Rupees
