Applies skill and dexterity in the performance of all aspects of device production, in keeping with regulatory and company guidelines; and provides training, guidance, and oversight to co-workers in team's effort to meet production targets.
How you’ll make an impact:
Perform line clearance, labeling, sterilization processes and packaging. Require an understanding of all stations/operation steps, per each work order processed and in strict adherence with quality, regulatory, SOP and work order standards, while working independently at the highest levels of quality and productivity with good knowledge in JDE system.
Perform verifications of the work of colleagues
Effectively provide coaching and training to lower level employees, monitor line performance including accountability for output and yield achievement, evaluate and demonstrate correct approach on work of other employees
Monitor inventory levels and prevent out of stock situations
Partner with Quality to align on product defect determinations
Other incidental duties (e.g. occasional photo copying or deliveries)
What you'll need (Required):
Secondary Education Preferred and
2+ years experience previous sewing, GMP, clean room, medical device experience Required
What else we look for (Preferred):
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coach others, and transfer knowledge
Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite and/or manufacturing system (e.g., JDE, Maximo) required
Good hand eye coordination, required
Good English language skills, including reading, comprehending, speaking and writing, and effective communication skills
Ability to use small hand tools, hand eye coordination, and high manual dexterity
Advanced level of understanding of manufacturing procedures
Proficient in all operations for multiple models and other production areas (model/operation)
Ability to guide other workers/colleagues in understanding operations and quality standards
Strict attention to detail
Must be able to work in a team environment and with minimum supervision by following detailed manufacturing instructions
Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
