WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH You will lead Nike Canada’s media strategy, while acting as a key link into the North American Integrated Media Team. You will work across the breadth of Nike campaigns, products, and platforms (.com, Nike App, SNKRS, etc) that get executed in the U.S. and Canada. Ability to build relationships and partner with extended teams is crucial to making impact in this role. You will partner closely with members of the Integrated Media team (campaign owners, channel experts, agencies), our marketing science team, as well as our business teams (finance, merch planning, business units, etc) and serve as a key liaison to our Nike Direct Business teams and leadership. On a daily basis, interacting with your immediate Canada Marketing Digital Teammates, within the Canada marketing organization and across other functions. In addition, for key Sport moments, and launches you’ll connect into Media & Digital Marketing teammates from other global cities (i.e. NYC & LA). Key partners throughout the marketing briefing to publishing to buying process include: Digital Brand Marketing, Integrated Media, Creators, marketing operations, business, merchants, authoring, and analytics teams, etc... WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are seeking an athlete - a dynamic marketing lead to play a multi-faceted strategy-level role in driving our commerce, social and member acquisition paid media programs. This person will play a pivotal and highly cross-functional role – responsible for collaborating across our paid media and adjacent business teams to ensure successful growth and management of our marketing programs to achieve desired outcomes. In this role, thought leadership, collaboration, and clear communications are key. You must be curious, a self-starter, and a willing teammate who takes pride in ownership of these important programs. You are the team sport type and thrive maximize the output of the whole team, not just the individual. The idea candidate has serious analytical chops as well as a strong working knowledge of paid media programs - especially how to maximize premium, branded direct response marketing in relation to other marketing and product levers. WHAT YOU BRING • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Communications, or Equivalent • 5+ years experience in Marketing, especially using digital media to drive growth; preferably in a lead capacity • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights • Experience leading the optimization of digital marketing channels to deliver against sales and acquisition KPIs (e.g. cost per order/new customer), across (website, app, email, push). • Familiarity with tools like AirTable, Figma and Tableau. • Self-starter with an innate curiosity and the drive to test, learn, adapt and be agile in a constantly evolving environment, ideally has experience working in highly matrixed organizations • Strong analytical skills & comfort with getting your “hands dirty” diving deep into the numbers. Proven capability to use data to drive business decisions & marketing optimization required • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations on complex business issues to non-Media saavy audiences • Proven track record of working highly-collaboratively and cross-functionally, including with brand, creative and technical teams • Passion for Nike’s mission to bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete* in the world • Invested in building Team and Office Culture. • Solution oriented self-starter, able to make quick assessments and dive in. • Growth mindset, open to receiving and sharing regular feedback anchored in a commitment to prioritizing personal development. • Consistent commitment to building teamwork, putting team’s goals first.
