About this team
Manage for the financial accuracy of SEA markets, through owning the periodic closing processes and overseeing the quality of accounting report packagesWork with APAC Accounts Payable Supervisor and coordinate with shared service center in accounts payable functions, including vendor invoice, staff reimbursement and corporate card programs for SEA marketsCoordinate with Finance teams in Vancouver for the controllership function, including but not limited to accounting policy updates and group policies & procedures localisation in accordance with market practicesPrepare annual financial statements and liaise with external auditor for annual statutory auditSupport in market tax compliances, including but not limited withholding tax and corporate income taxSupport store operations and related reportingOrganize and maintain appropriate accounting books and recordsHandle other ad-hoc tasks or other Asia markets as assigned by the line manager from time to time
Qualifications:
Degree holder in accounting or relevant disciplines with qualification of HKICPA or equivalent8+ years' experience in a similar role covering SEA markets, experience with MNC or big 4 CPA firms is a plusProficiency in Oracles EBS is an assetEnglish proficiency, Mandarin and Cantonese fluentGood interpersonal & communication skills and highly professional styleStrong organizational skills and the ability to work independentlyBe proactive and comfortable working with both local and remote team membersDemonstrate behavior of being present and listening with openness and curiosity cross functional teamsBe able to develop and maintain a good network of contacts, both inside and outside the organization, with people who can supply information, assistance, and support for work related goals

About this team
Finance team works cross functionally with other teams in the business for bookkeeping and financial reporting, as well as works with our auditors and tax representatives for compliances. We work closely with retail teams to support retail business operations, reporting, and growth. We also support market expansion in the region from all-round finance aspects.
