Location: Bellshill, Scotland
Hours: 42.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays)
Salary: Up to £17 per hour
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x hourly rate

This is an excellent opportunity to bring your HGV or LCV technician experience to Renault Trucks. You’ll join a dedicated and skilled team where collaboration, quality, and efficiency are central to everything we do.

We are also proud to be launching the second generation of our cutting-edge Renault Trucks E-Tech electric vehicles, alongside the opening of a brand-new, purpose-built three-bay LCV workshop (opened in February 2024). This facility is dedicated to servicing, repairing, and maintaining both electric (EV) and internal combustion engine (ICE) vans, providing our team with the latest tools and technology to do their best work.

Who are you?

You are a skilled and experienced technician with a background in servicing, repairing, and maintaining vans in a commercial vehicle environment.

You hold either:

A Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or

A Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

You have strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, take initiative in your work, and thrive as part of a team.

A full, valid UK driving licence is essential. An HGV licence would be an advantage or something you’re willing to work towards with our support.

What will you do as an LCV Technician?

As part of our dedicated Light Commercial Vehicle team, you will carry out high-quality servicing and repairs across a range of vehicles, including both electric (EV) and internal combustion engine (ICE) models. Your responsibilities will include:

 

Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines

Diagnosing faults accurately using the latest diagnostic equipment and technology

Preparing vehicles for MOTs and conducting thorough safety inspections

Working to high standards that meet or exceed both manufacturer and VOSA requirements

Communicating effectively with the Shift Supervisor to ensure clarity on job specifications and timeframes

Completing all required documentation and following company processes
