We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Transport Manager to lead our Control Tower operations. This critical role is responsible for overseeing the efficient and cost-effective execution of our transportation network, ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in 3PL or FMCG transport environments, coupled with proven leadership skills in managing large teams.

Operational Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the Transport Control Tower, ensuring seamless execution of transport plans.Monitor real-time transport activities, proactively identifying and resolving potential disruptions.Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all Control Tower functions.Manage relationships with carriers, 3PL providers, and internal stakeholderTeam Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 20+ transport professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and identify training needs.Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team and across departments.Performance Monitoring & Improvement:
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure transport efficiency, cost, and service levels.Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.Develop and implement strategies to optimize transport routes, reduce costs, and improve on-time delivery.Compliance & Safety:
Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and safety standards.Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize risks and prevent accidents. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements.Technology & Innovation:
Leverage transportation management systems (TMS) and other technologies to enhance operational efficiency.Identify and evaluate new technologies and solutions to improve transport performance.Reporting & Communication:
Prepare and present regular reports on transport performance to senior management.Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders on transport-related matters.What you will bring - Requirements:
MANDATORY : Minimum 5 years of experience in a Transport Management role within a 3PL or FMCG transport department.**Proven experience in managing a team of 15 or more employees. Management of transport spend of Minimum 50M€ **In-depth knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Proficiency in using transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software applications.We pride ourselves on having a high performing and collaborative culture where we support your career and development. In return for your commitment, drive and enthusiasm, we offer salary starting from 4.600 € plus annual bonus payment based on your performance. The final offer will depend on the skills and previous experience of the candidate. We also offer top attractive benefits.
