Job DescriptionPerform LCA/PCF calculations for existing and upcoming BA materials, products and processesProvide/Create overview of environmental impact of BA materials, products and processesDevelopment and implementation of sustainability calculation strategy and systematical calculation methodologyShow opportunities for reduction of environmental impact as input for R&D development strategyCreate awareness for sustainable design within the BAManaging and supporting LCA methodology improvement projects and programsContact for all internal colleagues regarding LCA/PCF calculation and dataContact for suppliers regarding data for LCA/PCF calculation and dataContact for customers regading LCA/PCF calculation and dataDefine and train the BA target group in PCF and LCA calculationEnsure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to lifecycle assessment, such as the ISO 14040:2006Act and compel colleagues to behave as ambassadors for Quality and SafetyUnderstand the importance of technical compliance and ensure the adherence thereof in daily businessBe dedicated to maximizing internal & external customer satisfaction by demonstrating ownership, dedication towards ensuring high-quality results and process-orientationOwning the quality of all outputs in the dedicated responsibility area as process member or process ownerStrive for “Zero Incidents” and “Zero Accidents” by demonstrating ownership and acting as a role model for a safe envirnomentAct and inspire colleagues to challenge the status quo in order to create sustainable solutionsInnovate and/or create solutions to support our corporate sustanability strategyRespect defined standards and targets for sustainability

 

QualificationsAcademic degree in Chemistry or Material ScienceKnowledge of lifecycle assessment methodologies and product carbon footprint calculation of materialsSustainability knowledge: Sustainability principles, standards, frameworks, and best practicesTools: Experience with software tools such as GaBi Communication skillsAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ESH, Purchasing, marketing, and legal teamsAbility to analyze and interpret sustainability data of materials and processesAbility to communicate effectively across cultures and in English and the local language
