In this highly visible role, you will be responsible to fully own block and toplevel layouts for analog and mixed signal ICs, continuously improve tools and methodologies that improve quality and on time execution within Linear Power business unit. You will work with world class development teams, advanced analog process technologies to develop industry leading high-performance LDO’s, Voltage Regulators, Voltage References and Supervisors. Your contribution will help in expanding TI’s market share by ensuring high quality deliverables along with on-time execution.
You will be responsible for working on layout development of high performance, high voltage analog blocks & ICs.
+ · Work closely with analog designer to understand the function of the block to make sure the layout enables the best performance for a given circuit design
+ · Exercising right balance of area, performance and schedule during layout development
+ · Learn about cross sections of components, new tools and methodology improvements in layout to enable highest levels of quality & efficiency
+ · Learn and optimize thermals, Electro Migration, ESD/LU performance and layout parasitic
+ · Co-development of test vehicles for new process & package technology development

**Minimum requirements:**
+ Minimum education (ie bachelor's degree in electrical engineering)
+ Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
**Preferred qualifications:**
Proficient in analog and mixed-signal layout techniques and verification process associated with the layout including device matching, cross-talk avoidance, LVS, DRC etc.
Good knowledge of scritping for automation such as Skill, Perl, Python and/or SHELL programming to be able to automate repeatable tasks for productivity improvements in layout.
Must be highly focused and remain committed to obtaining closure on project goals
Good interpersonal skills to be able to work and collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders
