Job Description:

As a Lay Up Tecnician you will set up, operate, or tend more than one type of cutting or forming machine tool or robot.

Responsibilities:

Lay Up Technician Responsibilities include:Assemble composite tables using adhesives and other methods.Read prints and operate standard measuring tools to measure and cut needed materials.Make up vacuum bags and bag components for the autoclave.Assemble foam and components assuring that fit and function meet requirements

Education: High School

Experience: 6 months

Basic computer skillsBasic knowledge of PDM Works preferredKnowledge of Shop Flow

Physical:

Must be able to stand for their whole shift 

Skills:

Pays attention to detailGood communication skillsIndependently motivated and organizedMust be able to lift 50 lbs. (anything over requires 2 people or lift device)Must be able to stand for entire shift (except during break time)
