The minimum requirements we seek:

2–5 years post-qualification experience as a Lawyer in ItalyStrong knowledge of consumer credit, earmarked credit, and relevant Italian/European regulations and directivesIn-depth understanding of captive financing and insurance productsFamiliarity with dealer network operations and contractsDemonstrated Ford OS behaviours: adaptability, continuous improvement, and cross-team collaborationProactive, collaborative, and able to work independently or as part of a teamStrong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills in both Italian and English (minimum B2 level)Effective time management and prioritization to meet deadlinesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)Flexibility to support key business deadlines

This position is based in Rome, and it is expected the successful candidate will be able to attend the Rome office for typically 4 days a week and remain flexible on the days they are required to attend the office according to business requirements.

Manage customer complaints and legal disputes in retail and insurance sectors Support credit registry reporting and banking transparency initiatives Assist with Data Privacy procedures, process controls, and customer request verifications Implement legal and regulatory changes Support fraud analysis, notification, and customer service/collections activities Review and update retail contracts, informational brochures, and marketing campaigns Draft and review contracts with external suppliers and financial partners Prepare reports for regulatory authorities (Banca d’Italia, IVASS, Privacy Guarantor) Provide corporate secretarial support (Board of Directors, Shareholders’ Meetings, compliance checks) Manage dealer network agreements and related contractual matters Handle litigation, appeals to the banking arbitrator, and IVASS regulatory issues
