We are currently looking to add a dynamic Lawn and Landscape Technician to our passionate team of tree care professionals. Your office is outdoors, and you get a new view every day!
Compensation$25 - $30 hourly (Based on experience)
Job DutiesWhat You’ll Do:
Climb Trees! Davey offers both DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS climbing systems. Properly diagnose insects, weeds, and fungus conditions, as well as pest shelter areas and conducive conditions. Continuously monitor lawn quality and fertilizing methods after application and communicate progress to customers and supervisors. Perform all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully. Including but not limited to: Pruning, thinning and removing deadwood throughout the tree canopy Removal of hazardous trees Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more. QualificationsWhat We’re Seeking:
Love of the outdoors 1-2 years of landscape experience Preferred: Background in Forestry, Horticulture, Landscaping, or working at heights Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire Ability to complete the Davey first aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire Additional InformationWhat We Offer:*
