Receives and processes soiled linens. Prepares clean linen for safe and efficient delivery and distribution to facilities. Monitors linen cleanliness, quality and other QA/QC requirements. Responsible for patient and guest satisfaction and comfort as it pertains to a clean environment. Must prioritize job duties, solve problems, communicate effectively and interact professionally with all patients, visitors, and Mayo Clinic staff. Completes other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** High School diploma or GED required. Three months of laundry experience, or relevant experience and training required. Must be able to speak, read and write in English. Including comprehension of verbal and written instructions, correspondence and memos. Requires ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and to use units of weight measurement and volume in order to operate laundry machinery and equipment. Regularly required to stand; use hands to handle or touch objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms; and to walk. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch and occasionally speak and hear. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. **Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
